    Darron Thomas to NFL

2012 NFL draft -- Darron Thomas of Oregon Ducks to leave early, enter draft - ESPN

mmm... Strange. He isn't Cam Newton or even RG3. I didn't see this coming.

Sweet. We need every advantage possible with a new coaching staff. I love it when the Pac-12 is strong, but I want to smell the roses in January!

They have another QB that is very good, some say already better than Thomas. There was a brief QB controversy when Thomas got hurt because the backup played so well.

Yep, this doesn't disadvantage Oregon at all.

I saw Bennett when he filled in against Colorado. He looked good, but not great. Thomas could have led the Ducks to another Championship game & I think this hurts their chances.

Agree to disagree...saw Bennett play in person at Autzen. Granted it was in the second half against Wazzu, but Thomas had let them hang around in the first half. Not only is Bennett quicker and faster than Thomas, but he is much more willing to sit in the pocket and let his receivers run their routes. Not to mention he threw a perfect ball to the endzone from just beyond the 50 off his backfoot with pressure in his face. Inexperience will be the only downgrade from Thomas in my opinion.
