Asu ASU Finally Gets A Coach, Todd Graham

Todd Graham is leaving Pitt after just one year there (previously coached at Rice and Tulsa) to become ASU's new head coach.

Not a bad hire, but Arizona already has his best assistants from last year lol.

He coached under Rich Rodriguez a couple years at Pitt. I was trolling the ASU's message board and their reaction was mixed, not a sexy hire, some hate the move...but I think some ASU fans are delirious on who they could actually get to come to Tempe.

I love this comment from a West Virginia fan on their board "so little brother (ASU) got big brother's (Arizona/RichRod) little brother for a coach"

ASU fires coach for going 6-6, then hires a coach that went 6-6 in Big East. Yeah, that makes sense.

The irony is that Graham is facing June Jones in the Birmingham Bowl.

Graham badmouthed Magee, Dews, and Gibson for leaving Pitt for Arizona, then he does the same thing but goes to the inferior Arizona school...hypocrite.

I'm hearing that Graham's antics and personality are like Stoop's but worse...and that Rodriguez hates him...Magee, Dews, and Gibson don't like him at all either...this rivalry is about to get even more heated!

He may be a good coach but it is tough not to see this hire as nothing but a complete FAIL for ASU. They were looking for a big name and/or the hot, flavor-of-the-month coach and got neither. A guy that finished 6-6 in the BIG EAST???? Really????

It is clear to me that ASU ended up settling on this guy. This hire will do ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to fire up the fan base or make much of an impact on the recruiting trail for ASU. I hope Rodriguez beats him like a drum year after year!

It gets worse. Because Pitt refused to allow him to interview with ASU, Graham resigned as coach. Pitt has grounds to sue him for breach of contract and probably will.

The more I get to know about Graham the more I think this was another fail for ASU.

Haha at that video! What a disaster! Michael Crow said "We had coaches beating downt the door that wanted to coach here and this is who we wanted" that is paraphrasing but you have got to be kidding me! Then they state that "We only made one offer and you are looking at that result now" lol at #asfail!

today's AZ Republic article referred to Graham as "Fraud Graham". 4 schools is five years....somethings not right there. He says the same thing at every landing "This is my dream school"

I don't think "ass" is a strong enough word to describe that character. He fits that crap hole up north perfectly, a scum!

I'm honestly shocked by this hire. He has no ASU ties and grew up in Texas. He goes 6-6 in that powerful Big East football conference that just accepted SDSU so that it would temporarily survive realignment. I have read nothing good about this guy as well. I think they were better off taking a shot on a hot name coordinator like we did with Stoops and see what happens. I mean Arkansas State got the Auburn offensive coordinator whose name is escaping me right now. I guess I wish ASU made a decent hire so that the rivalry would intensify and turn into a Bama Auburn rivalry ( Yah I know we'll never be that good, but I can dream).

I think Byrne graduating from assu was really a genous plan from the begining ti infiltrate the athletic department and eventually get them to make the worst possible hire/ or the best possible hire for us.

Byrne has assu on mind control just like Debo!
