Are we just weak or unlucky?

The ASU game drives me crazy. It seems like every year during this game, we are the team that has key players leave. Whether it is Tuitama or Foles in years past, or last night with Carey and Justin Washington and Flowers (at the end) or Concussed Matt Scott or Buckner...

When was the last time Rudy Carpenter or Osweiler or Burfict or Will Sutton got knocked out for the game against us?

Why are we always weaker/unlucky for this one game?

We have zero depth. Over a long season that's always going to be an issue by the 12th game of the season.

No back ups. It is going to take a few years to build up both sides of the line. Stoop left us some good players but just not enough. Give RR two more years and watch out.

Asu just seems to hit/tackle harder than us...some dirty, some just with more power.

I agree with the above posts on the lack of depth. It may not have much of an effect if the ASU game is played during the first few weeks of the season. But having ASU during the 12th game of the season, when the starters are beat up and tired after not getting much relief all season, seems to really take its toll every year.

RichRod will fix the depth issues. He should be a much better recruiter than Stoops, Mac, or Tomey ever were.... I hope.

We did lack depth this year, and that is why I think we will be as good or better next year. I believe the entire starting "D" returns and with the exception of a couple very big players on the "O", the core of that unit will still be there....How the new QB develpos will be the key, IMO.
