    The Sky Is Not Falling

This was a step back. A huge step back. But the season is not lost. As long as we take care of business, we will still go to a bowl game, which was better than a lot of people would have expected at the beginning of the season.

For the record we've had 3 great games, 2 close games, 1 bad game, and 1 massacre. But the sky is not falling. We will continue to have these growing pains.

And to quote "3 and Out", Rich Rodriguez evolution of his system is as follows: "Lose big, lose small, win small, win big". This year was ahead of schedule but still in that first category.

Keep supporting the team. Support the guys who are busting their ass. Support Hank Hobson. Support the program we love.

    Bear Down.

upside? well thankfully we are wildcat football fans and losing badly is really nothing new. kinda like how I would imagine prison rape isn't as bad the 100th time as it was the 1st time.

Ha ha ha ha. The numbness just sort of takes care of everything, when you've been following UA football long enough. Nothing surprises me with Arizona football, whether it's Smith, Tomey, Mackovic, Stoops, or Rich Rod walking the sidelines.

That being said, I felt like if we split with UCLA and ASU and handle Colorado and Utah, we are in a spot I didn't think possible when the year started: an 8-5 record. I'm so gawdamn happy that we SHOULD be 7-5, that last night didn't bother me too much.

66-10 or 16-13, we are playing with house money right now. Let's get Matt Scott healthy and stomp the Buffs....

Agree on all your points. At the beginning of the season, I would have been happy with an improved record + a victory over ASU. That would have been 5-7. I know that my expectations were lower than some (most, really) but I'm with you. We're playing with house money. Beat ASU and we go to a bowl. Beat the two worst teams in the Pac12 South before ASU, then that will just make our bowl game that much better.

I agree. CU is miserable. Our beat-up defense should be able to hold the Buffs under 20 and our back-up QB will likely put up 35+

idk, im super scared of utah which I was before ucla, but for some reason Colorado has a huge boner for us and I am thinking they are looking at us as a possible win now. I am not liking our chances at the moment.

If Scott has to be out a week, the Colorado game is the best game to be out for. GO CATS

I called 7-5 before the season started. I'm sticking to my guns. I'm very optimistic about 8-4 at this point too.

Utah scares me too. We haven't won a game on the road yet.

We need that Utah win. Two of our road losses added up to 115 - 10, we need some D on the road against Utah.
