    wc NFL QB Projection

I know this is not the same type of year for QBs that we saw last year, but it is nice to see Scott rated as the #10 QB projected. That will probably drop him in somewhere around the late 3rd round, or 4th....IMO

WalterFootball.com: 2013 NFL Draft: Quarterback Rankings

    Matt Scott, QB, Arizona
    Height: 6-3. Weight: 196.
    Projected 40 Time: 4.77.
    Projected Round (2013): 4-6.
1/12/13: Scott was previously a backup to Nick Foles, but used the 2012 season to make a statement that he is pro prospect in his own right. Scott showed nice dual-threat ability as a runner and passer this year. The senior completed 60 percent of his passes for 3,620 yards with 27 touchdowns and 14 interceptions. He also ran for 632 yards (506 net) with six touchdowns. Scott has some nice developmental talent

Scott is having a good week in Senior bowl practices. The biggest complaint made public is his inability to put better touch on the shorter, underneath throws. Meaning, he puts too much zip on it, which is making life harder on the WR's.

That said, he has been the standout QB on the West team and all indications is he is going to make some noise in the game.

EDIT: *Shrine Game, not senior bowl. Game is this sat at 4pm est.

With the success of quarterbacks like Kaepernick, RG3, and Russell Wilson teams are looking more for those type of athletic quarterbacks not just as future starters, but as backups to these types of players so that the offense wouldn't really have to change if/when a backup comes in.

A little blurb about Scott at the Shrine game. Hope he gets a shot at the NFL.

He dominated the shuttle runs, no QBs were close to him on those...good sign of his quickness, agility, and lateral movement.

sports radio in KC was saying good things about Scott as a sleeper pick. If the Chiefs go for Foles or Alex Smith, I wouldn't be surprised if Scott was picked up as the first pick of the fourth round
