    Kadeeeeeem

Kadeem Carey has been really impressive all year, but particularly last night against a rush defense that was ranked 2nd in the country heading into the game. 17 carries for 115 yards (6.8 YPC) and 2 TDs. He also was a threat in the passing game with 4 receptions for 68 yards. He certainly did his part to win the game and I hope going forward he gets as many touches as possible.

Couldn't agree anymore. Ka deem has been awesome in this system and he is still learning. The read option would be more of threat if Matt was injured and ran more but even with the lack of running from Scott, Carey has still shined. It should be fun to see what he can do the rest of this year AND the rest of his tenure with RR.

Agreed IMT, this is why I said that OSU's D was making Carey look like a Heisman candidate. Carey put up some great numbers on the ground alone that make him stand out from any other HB that OSU'S D has shut down. What makes this kid that much more special is he is home grown.

ya the beavers shut down Montee Ball this year who was one of the 5 heisman finalists last year.

To add to that IMT, they held Johnathan Fraklin to 12 carries, 45yds and the dude has been mentioned in the same sentence with the word Heisman this season. Carey is only gonna get better from here is what's crazy...

Great player with a great future ahead. Crowd went extra crazy when he carried that guy to that 9yd Touchdown in the second quarter.

Kadeem had the talent level of a Heisman candidate since he stepped on campus. If Arizona's staff gives him the opportunity to run 20 times per game, he'll put up some crazy numbers. His leg-strength is ridiculous and Carey adds 3-4 yards to every carry while defenders attempt to drag him down.

I love the way Carey initiates the contact with his tacklers. He makes them earn that tackle. He's very physical for someone not that big.

It's crazy the Ka'Deem isn't getting more touches. He should be getting the ball 1 every 4 or 5 plays.

He isn't a afraid to lay his body out for a catch, he puts his head down and doesn't run outta bounds, and he doesn't go down easy.. I love Kadeem. I just hope this continues, which it should bc I never seen any of RR rbs slow down.

It would be fantastic to see KaDeeeeem continue to improve this year, but, can't WAIT for next year for him. We're losing what, 3 SR starters on the line (incl KQuinn, CNTR!), but plenty of depth there.

Coaches have done amazing job and Anae gets tons of credit continuing to develop this line with new staff around. If QB next year (AS or whomever?) has a good passing game along with his run ability, KaDeem will be a monster in 2013.

Like I said tho', just want to see him continue to improve and a couple giant games against the softer teams should really set him up for next year.

Ka'Deem Carey was stellar, posting 186 yards of total offense against a stout OSU defense. Carey's 115 rushing yards were more than Wisconsin's Montee Ball and UCLA's Jonathan Franklin gained, combined, against the Beavers. Carey was the only UA back to carry the ball. From the Star. Steve Slaton in the making?
Agree with WellDigger, Anae doesn't get as much credit as he should and he probably is ok with that.

17 carries isn't going to cut it. Like I said at the start of the season, he needs 20 touches minimum per game. he's a home run rb, you gotta give him touches. for instance, Antolin, when he got a huge seam or block and had some daylight, he was good for 15-25 yards. Kadeem sees daylight and its 6. Points that is. He's going to get swallowed up a lot on blown blocks and beastly DL's, but when he gets that hole, ain't nothin gonna stop him.

Ka'Deem is the only non-senior among the top four rushers in the conference.

Untouched into the endzone! He is a great redzone runner.

I think people forget the kid is only a sophmore. Think of how dangerous he will be in this system as a senior

That's assuming KaDeem doesn't jump to the pros after next year. If he stays, there were be a lot of broken records

He is one of the best in the nation. Can you imagine how he would be with a bigger O-line.

This kid reminds me of Steve Slaton, like exact replicas (ss 5'9'' 208, kc 5'10'' 200) . Steve wasn't a big back (ala Kadeem) but had the, power, vision, and speed to dominate under RR. Kadeem ultimately has the chance to better than Slaton and if that is the case, look out America.

Both Ka'Deem and Austin Hill have gone over 1,000 yards today. That's the second time in school history we've had a pair of players with 1,000 yards in a season.

Kadeem could be the best running back in Arizona history.
