    Daniel Jenkins

I keep hearing to not expect him back next season. He has one more year of eligibility and obviously this team will go through Ka'Deem Carey entirely next season. He'll be a grad transfer so he'll be eligible immediately wherever he goes. He'd definitely be a good one for another program, but here at Arizona he's just behind a monster.

Sounds like it would be a good move for him. I would like to see him stay, of course, but wouldn't fault the kid for the change.

Do you think that we'll see more of Jared Baker or Kylan Butler next year? I felt bad for Baker after the fumble last weekend on special teams. He has a lot of talent & I was hoping to see him on offense.

I'd of course like him to stay because he is very talented and would be clutch to have him in the event of a Kadeem Carey injury. However, I want him to have the best final year in college possible so I wouldn't fault him for going some place he could start.

Thought he would make a hell of a slot receiver on those little out routes and also a deep threat with his speed

I met Daniel and his family at the spring game in Phoenix. What a nice young man and delightful family. I hate to see him go but, I wish him the best of luck.

If Arizona lands T.J. Johnson I don't see how he's not RB2 for this team.

Jenkins has been a class act here and with his degree, it's always great to have options. Whatever he decides to do, I'm definitely in his camp and wish him the very best.

Know that TJ is taking his time, don't know why! and glad he's related to Holloway. Don't know what his nickname is, but speedy little ****** is probably not gonna work here.

Can't wait to see him commit to UA.

Absolutely. He's very similar to Ka'Deem, which is why I think TJ would be the better option as the 2nd RB. You put Ka'Deem's skillset as your primary back and your 2nd RB is a god damn speed demon and it only plays to your advantage. Cormer is our future #1 RB though when Ka'Deem leaves for the pros.

Oh and obviously guys this has gone official, Daniel is gone.

Do we know where he's going yet?

Best of luck to him. Gave everything even with limited carries.

    Bitter sweet.

He stepped it up once Carey started getting banged up, but no one can blame him on wanting to fully showcase his talents. I wish him the best of luck.

I'm excited for Cormier to come in too. But I'm also excited to see what JT Washington will do. Apparently he was tearing it up in Fall camp last year.

Nope, he hasn't decided yet, but he will play FBS and not FCS as he doesn't have to sit out due to the grad school transfer rule.

Good luck to him. I hope our defense tears him to pieces when he's on the field. Nothing personal.

How is that possible? Thought you cannot transfer within the conference without sitting out two years?

Not with the grad transfer rule, like we were the beneficiary of with Mark Lyons.

They were one of if not the worst running teams last year, but some of that had to with their personnel and trailing for most of their games. Jenkins is a good receiving back though so I think it's a good fit to give him a bigger opportunity.

Didn't realize he was a grad transfer. Still very odd though to stay within the conference.

Ya, the two year thing is different. I thought it was an NCAA rule that you have to sit out after a transfer. The grad transfer is an exception to the NCAA rule. For some reason I thought having to sit out two years transfering in the same conference came from one year from the NCAA and an extra year from the conference rules. I guess the conference also has a grad transfer exception?

It's a degree ruling and also dependent on whether the school he's transferring to offers a program not available at the school he's leaving. The degree ruling exists so JC transfers don't have to sit out.
