In my opinion, yes. He has all the intangibles and seems like the the type of kid who could learn Rich Rod's style of offense quickly and adjust to the college level well. Redshirting freshman QBs is not a bad choice though...even Andrew Luck redshirted and that worked out well obviously. Scroggins will give him a battle for the starting spot though...has plenty of arm strength, but will need to execute and improve his reads and accuracy...will be interesting to see what happens.

Another great example of a QB excelling after redshirting his first year, but no I don't think statistically he would do THAT good.
