His numbers were much better in 2010 as a true freshman:
10 starts 192-337 57 % completion percentage 2,438 passing yards. 22 TDs 8 Interceptions

Don't know if we've any shot at him, but don't think you can ever have enough back-up QBs! Looking up his old stats, don't look to shabby and know he's grown and prob is faster now as well.
Danny O'Brien - Yahoo! Sports
Know they screwed up his WT when they did this 3+ years ago. His latest stats fm this past season with the Terrapins show him at
6'3" and 215 lbs.
He is a Pro style and a Rich Rod type. He will probally stay east.
Wasn't there a kid from UCF QB transferring as well? I'd say we should try and get either one. I think we need a proven answer for next year's starting QB. And after Scott, we don't have anyone. Allen looks like he'll be a good kid, but do we really want to rely on a true Soph or redshirt Freshman to take the reins?
Coach RR's QB Type is Def the Dual-Threat QB, not Pro-Style QB.

Quote from the Washington Post.
"Some individuals within the program said O’Brien struggled with reads early in the season and questioned whether O’Brien was the best fit for the up-tempo, spread offense installed by offensive coordinator Gary Crowton, who lasted just one season before being replaced with Mike Locksley".
I don't think O'Brien fits our needs as well!!
