ANU is SI's top instant impact QB

Great to see what we've all been thinking about this kid...

Arizona's Anu Solomon tops instant impact 2013 quarterback recruits - College Football - Ben Glicksman - SI.com

He's going to be something special I think. Can't wait to see our QB battle start up!

Spring Ball will give an edge to those that are already here:

Javelle Allen QB FR 6-2/204 Prosper, TX (Prosper HS)
Tyler D'Amore QB FR 6-1/193 Tuscon, AZ ()
B.J. Denker QB JR 6-3/195 Torrance, CA ()
Nick Isham QB SO 6-0/195 Los Angeles, CA (Westlake HS)
Jack Nykaza QB FR 6-1/190 Wilmette, IL ()
Josh Kern QB FR 6-5/200 San Antonio, TX (Clark HS)

Could be anyone, who wants it???

They won't name a starter till they are in Fall Camp - competition is good!

Juco Transfer and former USC Quarterback Jesse Scroggins is also enrolled now so he'll be in spring ball as well.

I've always been intrigued by Isham. I think the depth chart will be:

    Scroggins
    Isham
    Allen
    Denker

    Everyone else.

Solomon to RS. If Solomon does RS, I can see him being fully able to beat out Scroggins as a RS freshman or have the full reigns as a Soph. This would mean a healthy HEALTHY few years of UA football.

I could definitely see that as how it shakes out. Will be interesting to see what happens.

TONS of talent on this roster. I hope there are 1-3 kids willing to switch positions when they don't land the QB job next fall. I don't want anybody to transfer...
